Hires Automotive Center’s Tire Assurance Program is a road hazard warranty that our customers can purchase. The cost of the protection varies by the price of the tire. It is like an insurance policy on your tires and is optional. A road hazard occurs when a tire fails due to a puncture, bruise, or break. Usually, this occurs during the course of normal driving on a maintained road.
Nails, glass, curbs, and potholes are typical examples. Our warranty lasts for a period of 36 months from the purchase date. It can also last until any part of the tread has a depth of 2/32″ or less, whichever comes first. There are exclusions and limitations, though. The coverage is limited to the original selling price or replacement selling price, whichever is less.
3 Year Coverage:
First Year: 100% Coverage
Second Year: 50% Coverage
Third Year: 25% Coverage
What is not covered: Defects in material or workmanship (tire manufacturer will cover); theft; fire; off-road use.
